Gusto's Original Barbecue RUBS of the STATES BBQ Sampler Set

In this set you will receive 5 different rubs in 2" diameter tins (1.35-1.38 oz. net wt. each / about 1/4 cup each) of our dry rubs, wrapped with wine-colored tissue paper and placed inside a kraft tin tie bag that measures approximately 5.5"x4"x3"


1) LEXINGTON, NC: Often includes delicious slow-smoked pulled or chopped pork with their famous vinegar-based sauce that features no ketchup in the Eastern part of the state and a little ketchup in the Western part of the state. Ingredients in our NC rub include brown sugar, dry mustard and cayenne pepper. The rub is fantastic on chicken, too!

2) MEMPHIS, TN: Smoked often with a dry rub and served with sauce on the side! Ingredients in our TN rub include a good dose of sweet and a touch of cayenne for that perfect Memphis flavor. This rub is perfect for pulled pork.

3) EAST TEXAS: This rub is great on beef ribs, hearty meats and brisket. It's also delicious sprinkled over eggs or to season turkey burgers and meatballs. Ingredients in our TX rub include ground coriander, cumin and cayenne pepper.

4) KANSAS CITY, MO: Great on Beef or Pork ribs. KC ribs are usually slow cooked and served with a thick, sweet sauce. Ingredients in our KC rub include a good amount of dry mustard, garlic and chili powders.

5) SANTA MARIA, CA: Fantastic for Tri Tip roast or hearty beef. Best grilled over red oak and often mopped with a garlic-infused oil and red wine vinegar concoction. Ingredients in our CA rub include onion, rosemary and lemon peel.



Each tin of rub will cover 4-5lbs. of meat each.
